Excellent fast bowling show puts West Indies in driver seat on day 3

Another day of dominating day by the West Indies in the first at Port of Spain. The pacers continued from where they left off last night as the host bowled out Sri Lanka for 185.

West Indies got the lead of 229 run lead which later they extended to 360, while Powell played a fine inning after a poor start in the second inning. He scored an unbeaten 64 to help the hosts end the day at 131 for 4.

A fine knock from Powell, who played brilliantly with the right choice of shots. He brings up his fifth Test fifty with lofted shot on Dilruwan delivery for a six. And with that West Indies also completed 100 runs.

Earlier, Kemar Roach start hurting Sri Lanka as he clean bowled Roshen Silva on the third over of the morning. After that late in the session Gabriel picked most important wicket of captain Dinesh Chandimal. And in the afternoon Miguel Cummins wiped out the tail with the fast and furious short bowling display and bundled out Sri Lanka for just 185.
