India played a 1-1 draw against England in their second match in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2018.
Shilanand Larka scored his first international goal in 14th minute of the first quarter and give India 1-0 lead and they maintained their lead till 53rd minute of the game when Mark Gleghorne scored through a penalty stroke and level the game 1-1.
With the draw, India are now in the fourth spot in the table.
Indian team are playing with young and inexperienced team under Sardar Singh’s leadership, only had themselves to blame as they wasted nine penalty corners with some great scoring chances from the field.
India will now play World Number 1 Australia on Tuesday, which will be a very important game for them.
